The land now known as Withers Estates was once home to Blair and Vesta Withers, who built their life here in Hibbard, Idaho. Blair, a local to the area, and Vesta, raised in Salem, Idaho, were both shaped by the hardships of the Great Depression. After marrying in 1955, they purchased this ground from Blair’s mother and began with a small home—gradually growing it into a working dairy farm while raising five children.
Blair worked tirelessly—balancing long hours on the farm with additional work in town to support his family and grow their operation. Vesta created a home rooted in self-sufficiency and care. She raised a large garden, preserved what they produced, baked twelve loaves of bread each week, and made clothing for her children. She even saved fabric scraps to create handmade quilts—turning simple materials into something lasting.
Today, Withers Estates stands as a tribute to that legacy. The name remains not just in remembrance, but as a reflection of the life built here—one of resilience, stewardship, and deep family roots. What was once a farm that sustained a family is now an opportunity to build something meaningful of your own—and carry that legacy forward.
